Hi I’m Lisa Cutler from The Butterfly Program and welcome to this Monday Motivator session on ‘Your Creation Treasure Box’.
Now your creation treasure box is a collection of pictures and images and words, brochures, cut-outs, anything related to your goals, your aspirations, your dreams. Anything that motivates you and inspires you and will help you towards achieving these things.
So examples of these would be a brochure of a holiday destination that you really want to go to. It might be a picture or a cut-out of an experience you really want to have like sky diving or trekking or a yoga retreat in Bali. It might also be something you want to own or buy. A new car perhaps, a particular piece of jewelry or it might be a charitable organization that you would like to spend some time with that you’d like to contribute to. Whatever it is for you, collect things for your creation treasure box. And these might be quotes as well or stories – things that inspire you and motivate you. Maybe you can put some thank you cards and kind words that people have sent you in there.
So in your creation treasure box, now first of all find the box that you would like. Now this might be an old shoe box or an old biscuit tin. Something that you can paint or decorate. Or it might be a box that you go out and specifically purchase. And then find your clippings, your pictures, write words, whatever you want to. And maybe this is something that you can do with your family, with your children, or with a friend of yours. And make sure you keep your box somewhere where it is easy, easily accessible. Somewhere where you can open it and browse through regularly. And you can feel inspired and motivated by everything that you have in there. And keep adding to it as well.
So maybe this weekend, go ahead and create your creation treasure box.
